THREAD. WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE US AND ISRAEL AFTER TRUMP SIGNED THE MOU?
WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE US AND ISRAEL? A new axis of evil has just formed before our eyes: Iran, Qatar, Pakistan, and Turkey. Shockingly, Trump now fully supports them and considers them allies. Israel’s security concerns are no longer a priority for Trump; he cares little for Israel. Let’s examine the fronts Israel is fighting on, along with my predictions for each:
Iran: Israel will return to covert warfare, fighting the regime from within and continuing to damage its terror infrastructure, eliminating key IRGC figures, and seeking to destabilize the leadership. The Mossad will assume a leading role, operating beyond the use of IDF jets.
Lebanon: Israel will accelerate the destruction of all terrorist infrastructure and villages along the Israeli border to prevent Hezbollah from reestablishing positions and launching another 10/7-style attack. Trump will force Israel to withdraw in order to preserve his surrender deal with Iran. Israel, however, will strike in Lebanon on its own terms after any withdrawal.
Gaza: Israel will now refocus its attention and resources on eliminating Hamas in Gaza and reclaiming the remaining territory under Hamas control. The Mossad will continue to pursue and eliminate those responsible for the 10/7 attacks.
Syria: Trump will demand Israel withdraw from security operations to appease his allies, the jihadist Al-Jolani and Turkey’s President Erdogan. Israel will shift to clandestine operations aimed at destabilizing the Al-Jolani/Erdogan axis.
·Israel: Israel will persevere and work diligently to reduce its dependency on American arms. While Trump may disapprove, this shift will ultimately harm the U.S. more than Israel. Israel will be free to sell its technology to any new allies, regardless of American approval.
PM Netanyahu: My prediction is that Bibi will either retire before the election or lose it, which is deeply painful for me and for Israel. No current leader can fill his big shoes, but unfortunately, his unwillingness to confront Trump will be the price he pays. I believe he’s exhausted—three years of war and battling two U.S. presidents have taken a heavy toll on him.
·Trump: Trump’s legacy will be tarnished for the rest of his life, regardless of how many outbursts he has in the media. He will be remembered as the president who surrendered to Iran and endangered U.S. national security—worse than Obama or Biden. He is likely to lose the midterms, which is horrifying to me, as it will put the 'Jew Haters' party in control, but it is entirely his fault.
We, the Jews: We will persevere and endure as we always have, and the Jewish state will do the same, for ultimately our existence is in Hashem’s hands. Am Yisrael Chai!
