No room for masked thugs turning streets into battlegrounds – cops did what needed doing, and it worked
Facts first: On September 18, 2025, Lausanne had two Gaza-linked events. One was an authorized silent pro-Israel march by Suisse-Israël in Ouchy – about 100–200+ people, peaceful, with Swiss and Israeli flags, calling for hostage releases.
It went off without a hitch.
The other was an unauthorized pro-loser hate-group gathering starting at Place de la Riponne. Official estimates: around 2,000 participants.
Always a problem: a group of masked/cagoulés individuals – classic black bloc style, leftist radicals – started the violence.
They threw projectiles (eggs, stones, whatever) at police, overturned barriers and street furniture, tried to provoke wider clashes in the city center. This wasn’t about “Palestine”.. it never is; it was about creating anarchy, the usual Muslim-Marxist-adjacent playbook of disruption and anti-order fitnah.
Police response?
They issued warnings, then used wonderfully proportionate tools: tear gas grenades, pepper spray/rubber bullets where needed, and the FANTASTIC water cannon to disperse the violent chaos.
No civilian injuries, no escalation into full riot like some other hate-group protests.
Police protected public order, kept the peace for the silent march, and shut down the black-bloc nonsense fast without letting it spiral.
In a time when too many places let masked maniacs run wild, Lausanne police showed backbone.
Respect where it’s due - they earned it.
No Marxist chaos, no endless street battles.
Just law enforcement doing the job.
Simple. Effective.
We need to be cleaning the streets of this filth exactly like this worldwide.
