President Donald Trump amplified a Christian lawmaker-backed plan to create expedited immigration pathways for Jewish Canadians fleeing antisemitism — sharing the proposal with millions on Truth Social.
Canada has reported nearly 7,000 antisemitic incidents in a country of roughly 41 million people. The U.S., with more than 342 million people, has reported fewer than 6,300. The National Association of Christian Lawmakers is urging the State Department and DHS to use existing refugee, humanitarian and visa authorities to help facilitate relocation for the more than 2,000 Jewish Canadians who have expressed interest.
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has already told Trump his state would welcome Jewish families who legally enter the United States, and Jewish and Christian leaders in Tulsa have offered to help receive them.
