One of the greatest heroes of the American Revolution you’ve probably never heard of:
Haym Salomon.
He helped finance America’s fight for independence, and his legacy is still honored today. Some believe the 13 stars representing the original colonies on the Great Seal of the United States are arranged in the shape of a Magen David (Star of David) as a tribute to Salomon’s contributions and the Jewish role in America’s founding.
