Miriam Adelson Against President Trump, the article appeared a publication owned by Adelson, while she didn't write it, she didn't deny it.
The post shares a scathing Israel Hayom op-ed by Danny Zaken accusing Trump of a “grave mistake” by signing a surrender agreement with Iran, claiming it betrays U.S. and Israeli interests and risks future war.
Miriam Adelson, a major Trump donor and Israel Hayom owner, is shown in the post’s images embracing Trump; the editorial exposes tensions in pro-Israel Republican circles over the deal’s perceived leniency.
Miriam Adelson Against President Trump:
“Two weeks ago, one of your closest associates did something that drew public attention to your controversial conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel. And I deliberately use his full title. He is not ‘Bibi.’ He is the elected Prime Minister of the independent and sovereign State of Israel, just like anyone else who holds that office.
We feel betrayed, all the more so because, despite all your mistakes, your intentions seemed to be good. You acted contrary to those intentions. You lost your patience, your moral compass, and your sense of leadership. Only if you reverse your decision and avoid a final agreement with Iran will there be an opportunity to correct the situation.
You made a grave mistake. You failed by signing a surrender agreement with a bloodthirsty and ruthless terrorist regime. You have seriously undermined America’s interests, as well as the democratic and humanitarian values of the enlightened world, and accelerated the process. The hourglass is counting down to the next war, one that your successors will have to face in the years ahead.”
This is an excerpt from a widely discussed editorial column published by the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, which is owned by American billionaire and philanthropist Miriam Adelson.
Mrs. Adelson herself is one of the largest and most influential donors to the Republican Party and to Donald Trump. However, this particular article was written by Israeli journalist Danny Zaken and reflected the deepening crisis and growing disappointment among many right-wing political circles in Israel regarding the agreement signed by the Trump administration with Iran
