For the love of God, someone give Secretary Hegseth control of the Department of Education.
He accomplished more in a single day than the Department of Education has managed since its inception.
Under orders from Secretary Hegseth, 30 of these godforsaken indoctrination centers have just two weeks to complete sweeping investigations and turn over the results of audits examining their financial ties, academic partnerships, and research relationships with foreign countries, specifically targeting China.
If they don’t finish this in two weeks, they’ll lose access to future federal funding.
Duke, Harvard, University of Minnesota, Georgetown, Berkeley, and Cornell, are some of the Department of War’s targets.
It cannot be stressed enough: this is a battle for institutional control.
Academia should be confronted with the rigor of serious counterterrorism professionals who understand threat networks, influence operations, foreign interference, and strategic warfare.
Anything else is theater.
