James Fishback likes to present himself as a bold “America First” conservative. But the single largest donor to his political PAC is Daniel Fida Hassan
, a Pakistani-born American citizen and successful Boca Raton businessman who wrote a very large $125,000 check.
Hassan is a Harvard Business School graduate, a registered Republican, a practicing Christian, and the founder of The Patina Collective - a high-end classic Mercedes restoration company based in South Florida.
He has built a comfortable life in Boca Raton, an area with one of the highest Jewish populations in Florida (roughly 80% in many neighborhoods).
That raises an obvious and fair question:
Hey Daniel, why would a successful businessman living and operating in a heavily Jewish community like Boca Raton choose to be the biggest financial backer of James Fishback - a candidate who has repeatedly attacked Jews, called Benjamin Netanyahu a “war criminal,” promoted antisemitic tropes, and made hostility toward Israel and the Jewish community a central part of his campaign?
Fishback has no realistic path to victory. His campaign has become defined by Jew-hatred, conspiracy rhetoric, and personal grift. So why pour six figures into backing this utter disaster of a liar and fraud?
Daniel Hassan has every legal right to donate to whoever he wants. But the Jewish community in South Florida - and honest conservatives across the state - deserve to know why one of Boca Raton’s own prominent businessmen is funding someone whose main political project appears to be stoking hatred against Jews.
Transparency matters. Especially when the money is flowing into such a toxic campaign.
