Paul was calmly walking his beloved dog Mamboo in Pijnacker when he asked teens to pick up litter.
They kicked his dog.
They surrounded him.
They slapped & kicked him down onto his terrified innocent pup.
They then flashed a hammer.
IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK TO PROTECT SENIORS AND DOGS??!!

One teen started filming him.
The others closed in, called him a pig, slapped him twice on the head and face (knocking off and breaking his glasses), then kicked him hard in the thigh while he tried to get an explanation.
One pulled a hammer from his hip bag to intimidate him.
Paul fell backward onto the road and landed on his dog.
Mamboo was left badly shocked.
Paul felt powerless, angry, and threatened - he’d had head surgery late last year and worried about further injury.
Police arrested four boys (ages 13, 14, and two 15-year-olds.
The three teenagers were convicted by the Rechtbank Den Haag for openlijke geweldpleging (public violence) against 73-year-old Paul, plus multiple other offenses they committed around the same period (thefts, robberies, assaults, vandalism, and one even tried to RUN OVER a POLICE OFFICER).
Sentences handed down:
• Two boys: 40 days conditional youth detention + community service (taakstraf).
• The third boy: community service only.
• All three must complete mandatory behavioral programs and training to “get their lives back on track.”
I literally could not be more disgusted.
