“I interacted with many Druze and many Muslim Arabs during my kibbutz life. I saw the promise of co-existence, because Israel very much wanted this” - said Leslie.

After university, she followed her heart to a gap-year kibbutz ulpan in Israel, earning extra income through advertising gigs while living the communal dream that sealed her devotion forever. Back in the United States, she built a distinguished career in advertising and commercial production, working both domestically and abroad. Her talents also enriched major Jewish organizations, including marketing campaigns for the Jewish Federation.

October 7, 2023, was the brutal awakening that ended any comfortable complacency. Where others grieved in silence, Leslie refused to watch passively as Israel was slandered and its sovereignty undermined. She came to X not merely to follow events, but to galvanize Zionists worldwide - for mutual support, yes, but more critically to counter the tidal wave of propaganda, factual inversions, and hatred.

In the process, she became The Zionist Connector.

Tirelessly boosting thousands of accounts, she has turned many into respected creators of original content and dedicated “foot soldiers” who amplify truth in a hostile digital arena. She connects Jews and non-Jewish allies alike, forging a powerful, resilient network where none existed before.

Yet what sets Leslie apart for me is her private, behind-the-scenes generosity.

From my earliest days here, she has reached out with smart ideas, engaged in deep strategic discussions, and offered consistent encouragement when the fight felt heaviest.

Her insight, warmth, and unshakeable commitment have been instrumental in my own work. In a space often darkened by noise and hostility, Leslie shines as a beacon of clarity, creativity, and kindness.
